Downtown Milwaukee Starts to Open Back Up

It’s been almost three months since the start of Wisconsin’s stay at home order. Practically overnight, Downtown Milwaukee became eerily quiet as office towers emptied and people began working from home. At Data Narro, we implemented a work-at-home program that allowed the majority of our staff to work remotely, just as most of our clients have done.

As restrictions have loosened up in recent weeks, workers are making their way back to downtown. While it’s far from the hustle and bustle that we are used too, there is an energy in the air. Outdoor dining is back along the Riverwalk and the Milwaukee Public Market is open again. New restaurants are opening up (Tua Pasta, Flourchild). The new home of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra is starting to take shape.

We are back, too — wearing masks and taking social distancing seriously. We know this pandemic isn’t over, but we are happy to see the flowers blooming and summer breeze returning to downtown.

We hope to see you down here soon.
